Natasha moved to Canada in 2010 from the UK, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages and Linguistics, and speaks French and German.
She has been practicing Vision Therapy since 2016, when her son started a therapy program for amblyopia and strabismus. Throughout his therapy, her interest in Neuro-optometry grew and she was eager to learn more.
Natasha has now successfully completed the Practical Vision Therapy Accreditation Program (PVTAP) through Vision Therapy Canada.
She has worked with a variety of visually challenged patients from adults to children of all ages, including those with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, developmental disorders and various acquired or traumatic brain injuries.
With her personal experience, linguistic training and keen interest in this field, along with her calm and warm personality, Natasha is able to gently coach and guide her patients through their therapy.
Natasha is passionate about helping people and being able to contribute to their rehabilitation, and to see them progress the way her son did, is the best part of her job.
Joanne is returning to the field of optometry after taking time off to be home with her children. She has a natural talent for working with people and an eye for fashion, and working at Ancaster Family Eye Care provides the perfect opportunity to put both of those skills to use.
In her time off, Joanne loves to express her creativity through baking and has been working on a series of ever more elaborate cakes. She graduated from Mohawk College with a diploma in biotechnology in 2016.
Beth has worked in the optical industry for the past 9 years. She started in a lab in London where she learned everything about the basics of lenses and how they help our everyday life.
She learned how to make glasses from the beginning to the end. She then moved on to an optical office and worked in the opposite side of the optical industry where she helped patients find the type of glasses and lenses that would help them in their everyday life.
Beth enjoys working with the public and seeing patients leave the office happy and confident with their choice of eyewear.
